Get sporty this summer.
Another month slips by in this strange year we’re calling 2020, and the video games continue to roll out across platforms. On Switch we saw the release of excellent Paper Mario: The Origami King in July along with the decidedly odd Deadly Premonition 2: A Blessing in Disguise and the return of cult classic Catherine in Full Body mode.
Looking at the lineup for August on Switch, it’s certainly slim pickings at the start of the month. That’s no problem for us (it gives us time to whittle down our bulging backlog), but the standard summer video gaming drought seems to be in full effect in 2020. We’re sure Nintendo will have a juicy little announcement at some point in the coming weeks to quench our thirst–and there are several games with tentative ‘Q3’ release dates pencilled in–but as things stand it’s looking a little dry.
